AI automations

Every business has jobs that eat the week: sorting enquiries, copying details from one place to another, writing the same reply for the tenth time. I build automations that do those jobs for you, with AI where it actually helps and a person approving anything your customers will see.

  1. A new email arrives
  2. AI reads and sorts it
  3. AI drafts a reply
  4. You approve it
  5. Done

A simulation with made-up emails. Nothing is sent, and no AI model runs on this page.

What you get

  • A list of the busyworkWe write down the jobs that eat your week, and pick the ones worth automating first.
  • The tools you already useEmail, spreadsheets, forms and your website, connected so data moves on its own.
  • AI where it helpsSorting, summarising and first drafts with models like Google's Gemini, and plain code for everything else.
  • You stay in chargeAnything a customer will see can wait for your approval.
  • A record of every runSo you can always see what happened, when and why.
  • A heads-up when something breaksIf a step fails, you hear about it the same day, not a week later.

Automations I've built

The invoicing app on two phones: the Scan a rental slip button above the car form, and the invoice list. Shown with sample data, personal details blurred.

Invoice & Rental App

Staff photograph a hand-filled rental slip and Gemini reads it into the form, so they check the details instead of typing them. It's part of the invoicing app a family business uses every day.

WildScan's collection screen: a red fox, a blue tit, a monarch butterfly, a red squirrel and a toad, each with a rarity label.

WildScan

Gemini looks at each photo, names the species, rates how rare it is, and rejects animals in cages and photos of screens. The rules are strict, so the leaderboard stays fair.

The website audit pipeline

It pulls business listings from OpenStreetMap, runs Google's Lighthouse on each website and writes up the results. It's how I tested 465 sites in October.

Questions people ask

Will the AI reply to my customers on its own?

Only if you want it to. I usually set things up so a person approves anything a customer sees, at least until you trust it.

What does it cost to run?

It depends on how often it runs. I'll estimate the monthly AI and hosting costs before we build, so there are no surprises.

Is my data safe?

Each automation only gets access to what it needs, API keys stay on the server, and I'll tell you exactly which services see your data.

Let's automate the boring part

Tell me the task you'd most like to never do again. If a machine can do it reliably, I'll show you how.
